imaginary snow

20121213-205829.jpg
For some reason there's still no snow in toronto yet (from a month ago when I made this post) so here's some imaginary snow :)

using:
konad stamper & scraper
Konad colors
white
pink
yellow
Essie~good as gold
konad m20
konad m57
konad m59

I didn't want to polish my nails with a color so I just stamped a whole bunch of designs
A very easy to do design with random arrangements of snowflakes and flowers with random colors :)
I hope everyone will enjoy wonderful weekend!

Dreamy stars
I used previous manicure as a base to create this look
The pattern is made with:
  • Konad white polish
  • Konad plate m84
  • Konad stamper and scraper
I loved the jelly, adding stars to it just feels right. What do you think?

what you need: (these are just the things that I have used, feel free to test and replace them with other colors and image plates)
  • stamper
  • scraper
  • image plate (konad m57)
  • base color polish
  • stamping polishes (konad purple, konad, pink, konad white)
paint base coat to protect nails from color staining
  1. paint base color onto nails (let dry)
  2. dab 3 drops of different stamping polish
  3. scrape in the direction you want your colors
  4. use stamper to pick up the image and stamp onto nails
sorry loves, who doesn't have this nail stamping system, if you like, feel free to ask me about it :) its actually quite easy to use once you get the hang of it. I will consider making a pictorial for those who wants to know how to use it.

I own and have an obsession with and of konad products, they were the first to have nail art stamping plates from korea. I also had a hard time to use it in my first few attempts, which was frustrating. I had to go back to the store that I purchased to show me how to do it again. It was worth my time, once I got the hang of it, it was really easy and I spend a lot less time on this stamping than on applying polish onto my nails. It was really easy to disguise my lack of skill of applying polishes evenly.
